1. Choose a disease or disorder associated with either
a. Undernurishment
b. Malnurishment
c. Overnurishment

3. Create a series of slides that contain the following information about your disease/disorder.
a. Description
what causes the disease/disorder? (be specific)
b. Pathology
what are the biological effects? are they the same for infants, children, adults, elderly?
c. Demographic Information (data needed for this slide)
what population is this disease/disorder commonly found in? is it regional? if so where? How frequent is it?
d. Historic significance (data needed for this slide)
How has the frequency or intensity of this disorder changed throughout time. Look both long term from hunters and gathers through today as well as in the last 50 years
e.Solutions
How can this be solved? What steps are already in place? how are they working? how could they be improved? What does the future hold for solving these issues?
Sources for this information include:
CDC
UN/WHO global health report
WIKIPEDIA CUTTING AND PASTING WILL NOT GET THIS DONE!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure you have specific data to support your statements.
Also remember that these are slides for a presentation. Keys to good slides include few words and quality graphics. A graph is way more powerful then a paragraph.
