Using the ipads and the power of the interweb (world wide net, great googlymoogly or what ever you kids are calling it these days) create a poster that highlights the significance of the person or event that you have been assigned.
I suggest that you use google docs to create your poster. You can do this by making 4 to 6 slides.
Information should include:
Description of person/event (time,place,background)
Impact that was felt at the time (include federal/international response. legislation agreements...)
Continuing impact of person/event (impact on modern day life How have we changed how we approach our lives as a result of this person/event)
Pictures are an absolute must
Remember to focus on how they have impacted environmental science. Don't tell me about watergate if you have Nixon
