Group Presentation
- Create groups of 4
- Get topic assigned
- Create a powerpoint (or Prezi) that explains your renewable resource. Your presentation should include (whole group)
- Overview of technology
- Advantages
- Disadvantages
- Emissions
- Cost per KWH
- Energy investment

Stabilization wedge
1. Research each of the 15 strategies for cutting carbon
a. Create a description of technique
b. Describe what technologies are currently available and what would need to be developed in the future
c. Give a specific example of how this is currently being done, or specific prototypes that allow us to believe it can be done
d. What are the cons of using this strategy?
i. What is the impact that this will create?
ii. Are there implementation issues?
iii. What societal changes must be accomplished to make this happen?
2. Over the weekend communicate with your lab partners on which strategies you plan to employ. (you can do this via e-mail, facebook, google docs... phone, get together)
Play the game and make decisions. Be aware of what decisions you made and why you will need to defend them on Monday.
3. Monday
5mins- group get together to finalize decisions
25min- each group will have 5 min to defend their decisions
10min- Rebuttal from members of the class
5 min each group turns in 1 copy of the game for grading. All members names must be on the paper.
